Turn mates into team mates this summer!

FOOTBALL’S BACK!

HFI are thrilled to announce that Summer Football will again be played in 2025 and registrations are now open, with the competition starting the week commencing 8th September.

The Hills Football Summer Competition is the perfect way to continue playing football in the off season, or to try our sport for the first time. Summer Football is a fast paced, high intensity, high action and sees more goals scored from both teams. Summer Football is a shorter version of our game, played on a Quarter Pitch field of 6 v 6 with subs (4 v 4 with subs for Under 6 & 7s on 1/8th pitch).

To register, you will need to get a bunch of your mates together and register your team on the registration portal.

Each player will be provided with your selected Legea match jersey, shorts, and socks all included in your registration. Each team can choose their designs that are unique to all Football Competitions.

All matches will be played with a revolutionary ball that has been designed specifically for summer football. This ball is slightly smaller than an outdoor ball and larger than a Futsal ball. The intention for this ball is to keep it in play for longer and ensures players can make more passes without losing any match time.

Each team manager can select one design from the available options. Once a design option has been taken by a team, this design will no longer be available for any other team in the same competition. Players will need to register by Friday 1st August to ensure that their kit is delivered by round 1. Players can still register after the 1st August, they may just receive their kits after round 1. Note – if you have registered prior to 1st August, please being a spare kit to play in in case the wrong sizes have been selected.

Summer Football generally has a team registration approach, however we will accept individual registrations for those who would like to be placed into an already established team.  Whilst we cannot guarantee there will be a place for you, we will do our best to find you a position.
